The leisure-friendly certification system is a system where the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Regional Culture Promotion Agency select, certify, and support companies that can be exemplary so that workers can harmonize their work and leisure life. As of the end of 2021, a total of 293 companies and institutions were certified as a leisure-friendly company, and 10 excellent companies and institutions were awarded the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Director of the Local Culture Promotion Agency.
Item Bay has been making efforts to improve the working environment of employees since it was selected as a leisure-friendly company for the first time in 2019. As a result, he was selected as the Minister of Culture Award this year in recognition of the excellent leisure system and organizational culture.
Item Bay operates a ‘time lag commuting system’ where employees are autonomously choosing to commute time. In addition, Welfare Points, Welfare Points, Long-term Service Employees Refresh Overseas Travel Support, Health Checkups, Children Admissions and Student Funds, In-house Clubs and Activities Support, In-house Culture Event, etc. Various programs are being implemented to increase efficiency.

Meanwhile, item bay was selected as the ‘2022 Youth-Friendly Jiangsu Company’ designated by the Ministry of Employment and Labor earlier this year. In 2020, it was selected as a ‘Seoul-type Jiangsu Enterprise’ for young people organized by Seoul City, and received the ‘SS Rating of Outstanding Innovation Company’ for companies that actively practiced work innovation by the Ministry of Employment and Labor. In 2017, the family-friendly work culture was designated as an ‘family-friendly certification company’.
